Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - The storm knocked out power to thousands in the metro and crews worked through the night to restore it. Xcel Energy says 26-thousand customers in Fargo and West Fargo lost power as the thunderstorms and high winds moved through.
FARGO, N.D. (AP) — Thousands of people in the Fargo area remained without electricity on Tuesday after strong storms the night before knocked out power to an estimated 26,000 people in the metro area, along with hundreds more in rural areas.
West Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - Less than 24-hours after a successful referendum, the West Fargo School Board would like to break ground on the first new school by July. Voters overwhelmingly passed an 82.5 million dollar referendum to ease overcrowding.

There is a good chunk of homeowners out in that Bakke Addition who have children graduating, or are retiring themselves and have no reason to stay in the subdivision, but now have no way out.
West Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - The West Fargo School District proved the third time was the charm for a bond referendum. Voters overwhelmingly passed the district's latest bond referendum. The 82.5 million dollar referendum passed by a vote of 5,194 to 2,226. It is a 70-percent majority, well above the 60-percent needed.
