Minneapolis, MN (WDAY TV) - The Vikings focused on the defensive side of the ball during the later rounds of the NFL Draft in an effort to fix what was one of the worst units in franchise history last year, but the Vikes also drafted a quarterback in Teddy Bridgewater in the first round, with plenty of fans wondering if he's going to be under center when the season begins on September 7th.

Teddy Bridgewater/Vikings Quarterback: “I talked with Coach Zimmer awhile back when I came on my trip here. He told me that he loves guys that play with a chip on their shoulder. Just experiencing last night, I'm glad to be a Viking, but you can best believe that I'll play with a chip on my shoulder.”

Anthony Barr/Vikings First Round Draft Pick: “I think I'm a tough football player and that I'm very competitive. I think anywhere they end up placing me on the football field I'm going to be able to make an impact for the team.”

The recent draftees will be in Vikings purple for the first time on Friday as Minnesota holds its rookie minicamp.
