NFL Draft (WDAY TV) - Billy Turner didn't have to wait too long to hear his name called.

The three time All-American at NDSU was drafted in the third round tonight by the Miami

Dolphins; Miami wanted Turner too; they traded two picks to Oakland to move up to number 67 spot.

Turner goes to a team that needs offensive line help in the worst way.

He becomes the highest drafted Bison player since Lamar Gordon was taken with the 84th overall pick in 2002.

Billy Turner/ Drafted By Miami (67th Overall): “Being able to get into their ear a little bit more and then being able to talk to me a little more and get to know me a little more was one of the things I think helped them make their minds up so like you said them trading up to get me, it feels nice knowing that they wanted to get me as soon as possible since it was the second pick and the rest is history.”

Turner told me he'll head to Miami on Sunday, rookie camp starts next week.
