Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - The F-M RedHawks will have a perfect night to play their 2nd exhibition game of the season Monday night at Newman Outdoor Field, but Zach Penprase will not be on the field.

Penprase, who's back for his 7th season with the club is rehabbing after surgery on a torn labrum in the offseason, his goal he told me earlier today is to play a full 100 games in a season for the first time.

Zach Penprase/ RedHawks Shortstop: “I think just to get some innings in. I think we just need to see where we're at. I think the focus for me is just to get some at-bats and get my arm into shape. I think that's just it, we need to see where we're at and not really go thru the motions, but just get some innings under our belt before we start for real.”

Hawks and St. Paul are underway at Newman Outdoor, after Monday the RedHawks will not play at home for three weeks, they leave on a 20 day road trip later this week.
