Minneapolis, MN (WDAY TV) - Adrian Peterson says he's nearly 100 percent after a third straight offseason that required surgery this time on his groin.
Peterson is coming off a disappointing year that saw him run for over 1,200 yards and rack up 10 touchdowns, mere mortal stats after a MVP 2012 and now is getting used to his third different head coach in his 8 years in the league.
Adrian Peterson/ 1,341 Rush Yds, 13 total TD last season: “I’m getting pretty good since, I was feeling well along with all the other running backs. You know, just looking at the playbook we have a dynamic playbook. We have a lot of different options. Right now it’s all about just soaking in as much as you can and continue to take those steps forward.”
Peterson lost his main backup Toby Gerhart in free agency, good chance Minnesota uses a draft pick on a running back.
