Wahpeton, ND (WDAY TV) - The search for missing NDSCS student, Andrew Sadek, Monday moved to a rural area, south of Wahpeton.

Acting on a tip from a motorist who says he saw a young man walking on the road, near Tyler, North Dakota, the Richland County Sheriff's Department searched the Red River near Tyler, which is just 8 miles south of Wahpeton.

Those on the search team used ATV's to comb the fields and river banks near the Tyler Bridge in hopes of coming up with something in connection with the disappearance of the 20-year-old student.

Sgt. Steve Helgeson/ NDSCS Police: “Everything seemed to be fine, no red flags, nothing. That is what is so frustrating for us in law enforcement... It is. I mean."
