Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - A Wahpeton woman was sent to the hospital after rolling her car on I-29 south of Fargo.

24-year-old Shelby Olson was driving north near mile marker 58 when she hit the soft shoulder and lost control.

Olson over-corrected and rolled into a ditch with water, with the vehicle coming to a rest on its top.

Olson was wearing her seat belt and was suspended upside down in her car.

A Bismarck doctor driving by was first on the scene and was able to give Olson aid until the ambulance arrived.

Sgt. Troy Hischer/North Dakota Highway Patrol: "But she did help call the shots with the first responders that were civilians on scene until we arrived and then eventually the ambulance personnel."

Olson was taken to Essentia Hospital for treatment.
