But, UND ties it up and eventually takes the lead in the top of the 6th, Jeff Campbell doubles to left-field, and in comes Daniel Lockhert for the go-ahead run.
4-3 North Dakota.
UND pitcher Patrick Reiwer went the distance on the mound in his first start of the season to get the win.
Jeff Campbell/ 1-4, Go-Ahead RBI: “Yeah, it feels great to beat a rival. It helps to get a win. We've been struggling lately. We got home this last week and it feels good to be close to home still with this and get the win against NDSU.”
Tod Brown/ NDSU Head Coach: “We had some opportunities to cash in with some runs and we didn't get the hit at the right time. Credit their pitcher, he pitched a heck of a ballgame.”
