Twins rained out again

Minneapolis, MN (WDAY TV) - The Twins are getting a mini-vacation in April for the 3rd straight day they are not playing as they were rained out Tuesday afternoon for their series opener with the Dodgers.

Minneapolis, MN (WDAY TV) - The Twins are getting a mini-vacation in April for the 3rd straight day they are not playing as they were rained out Tuesday afternoon for their series opener with the Dodgers.

The Target Field grounds crew will be earning their money to get everything ready, while for the players, they're trying to avoid going stir-crazy...

Ron Gardenhire/ Twins Manager: “It's like guys going out there throwing today; all said same thing haven't been out there in a year only been a few days but tie that in with a day off also been a few days since we played baseball so this is a little different.”

Brian Dozier/ Twins Second Baseman: “We want to be out there, we don't want to play in this, hopefully we'll be back out there tomorrow.”

Twins will play the makeup game with the Dodgers as part of a day-night doubleheader on Thursday.
