Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - The Cass County Sheriff's Office laid out the highs and lows for the department in its annual report Tuesday.

One page is drawing particular interest.

It charts the number of complaints filed by and against the department.

Between inmate, public and department grievances the office of Professional Standards totaled 2 resignations, 4 reprimands, 3 suspensions and one demotion.

But complaints have actually declined since last year.

Tara Morris/ Cass County Sheriff’s Office: “Sheriff Laney has made his expectations very clear. Pride and honor are a huge part of his leadership style and employees here know what is expected of them.”

The report also includes budget and crime statistics, awards and the county's response to incidents like the Casselton derailment.

The report is publicly available online.
