St. Paul, MN (WDAY TV) - The Minnesota Wild are hoping tonight is not the final time they gather at the Xcel Energy Center this year, they'll need a win if they want to avoid that reality.

The Wild return home after another devastating overtime loss in Colorado, this time filled with controversy after a missed penalty but the Wild say they need to bring their best effort tonight.

Zach Parise/50game Playoff Point Streak: “The toughest thing to do is close out a series. I think when you're on the other side you're expecting the best game from the team that's down 3-2. I think that's what we expect from ourselves is to have our best game.”

Mike Yeo/3-4 Record in Postseason: “We can't have any fear of what we're afraid of losing. We can't have any thought of the negative part of what's at stake here. We have to make sure that we're going all-in to this game. We're going to throw our best effort out and give ourselves the best opportunity to win a hockey game.”

Important to note, no playoff series has ever ended at the X, Wild love to force a Game 7, they're unbeaten in those.
