Moorhead, MN (WDAY TV) - Where kids can now read a book in the shade of a tree.

Not a real tree - but a play and reading space- just unveiled in the children's section Saturday.

They partnered with the three-dimensional foundations class at Concordia College, who designed and built the project.

The library wanted an interactive and inviting space to enhance the library experience for young readers.

Mandi Dahlseng/Concordia Student: "I think it's a great idea that Concordia gets to partner with the community. They give a lot to us and it's great that we can support them in return. So, it's really establishing what Concordia stands for, our mission and our values. But it also helps us grow and get some experience."

The display will be a permanent fixture at the library.
