Minnesota Wild happy to see Mikael Granlund becoming the player they had hoped

St. Paul, MN (WDAY TV) - The Minnesota Wild resume their playoff series with Colorado tomorrow night and they're hoping Mikael Granlund can come through again, the Finnish forward scored the game winning goal on Monday and has blossomed into the player Minnesota was hoping he would be when they took him with the 9th overall pick in 2010.

Mike Yeo/Wild Head Coach: “We talked about at the end of the year young kids with skill and how you have to be careful, not rush to judgment too quickly, last year was a trying year for him, he was a rookie, player that was coming and trying to change his game.”

Wild have outshot the Avalanche in all 8 meetings this year, game 4 tomorrow at 8:30.
