Moorhead, MN (WDAY TV) - Minnesota homeowners and renters may be getting some extra change in their pockets thanks to property tax cuts.

This marks the first time in twelve years that those taxes are declining.
The state will be also be giving local government aid that will help pay for essential services.
Chuck Hendrickson/ Moorhead Council Member: "You know we have money to work with, we can fund the police and fire, and we can fix the roads - you know it just give us a little more room to work."
