Philadelphia, PA (WDAY TV) - When you play a team 282 times there are countless games to choose from as favorites or instant classics.

You'd be hard pressed to find a better game than the one last night between UND and Minnesota in the Frozen Four.

Now it looked like these two teams were going to skate into overtime. That was until the Gophers Justin Holl scored his first goal of the season with under a second to play in the game giving the Gophers a 2-1 win, ending UND's season.

Luke Johnson/ UND Freshman Forward: “From not knowing if we were going to be in this situation, to being here at the Frozen Four, can't say enough of how proud I am of the guys in the locker room.”

Jordan Schmaltz/ UND Sophomore Defenseman: “Know the boys battled all year, it's a testament to coaches in the locker room, sucks it had to end like this.”

Mark MacMillan/ UND Junior Forward: “Hard to put into words this season we had terrible start there the way this team came together was really special, fun to be a part of, something we can build into next year.”

North Dakota ends season with a 25-14-3 record and Minnesota will skate for its 6th national title tomorrow night when they face Union in the national championship.”

It's UND's 5th straight loss in the Frozen Four, while for Minnesota, they're back in the championship game for the first time since 2003.
