Former Fargo North hockey player is honored at Fargo Force game

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - It's the final weekend of play for the Fargo Force, but tonight, they're game took a back seat during the first intermission to a special presentation.

We brought you Zach Kraft's story a few weeks ago.

The former standout hockey player at Fargo North has been diagnosed with brain cancer.

Friday, In sports foundation and Sanford presented checks to Kraft totaling nearly $5,000 dollars.

Zach Kraft/ Battling Brain Cancer: “It honestly means a lot. I couldn't ask for any more support. It helps me out immensely with what I'm going through. It keeps me motivated and keeps me going. I just want to thank everyone out there for the support I've gotten so far.”
