Minneapolis, MN (WDAY TV) - The Twins didn't have much luck on opening day, falling 5-3 to the rival White Sox.

But, after a day off, the team had a much better outing this afternoon.

But was it enough?

Tied at 3 in the 7th, 2 on for Trevor Plouffe, I said Sunday that he'd be an x-factor this year, this helps.

The 2-run single puts Minnesota up 5-3.

Chicago gets one back on a home run, but in the top of the 9th, Kurt Suzuki pushes the lead back to two, hitting a double down the right-field line. His team leading 4th RBI.

Twins up 6-4.
