Mapleton, ND (WDAY TV) - Homeowners in a housing development in Mapleton, are still looking for answers to a water drainage problem.

As we told you more than a week ago, there are standing water and drainage issues in the Meridian Development.

Homeowners want the developer to address the problem of an ineffective drainage system.

The city proposed adding storm drains.

Another plan is to wait until the frost is out, and dig another drainage ditch.

Eric Hillman/ Mapleton Mayor: “We have offered citizens a number of different options. We have gone fourth with 2 options that they chose, so when I get all that stuff compiled, I will contact you.”

A homeowner told us Tuesday the plans are weeks down the road.
