Twins lose for the 6th straight time on Opening Day

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - A new baseball season started today whether the calendar says we're ready or not, the Twins enter 2014 with lots of questions about its lineup, they did not score many runs in Spring Training, eager to stop a three year slide of 90 plus loss seasons.

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - A new baseball season started today whether the calendar says we're ready or not, the Twins enter 2014 with lots of questions about its lineup, they did not score many runs in Spring Training, eager to stop a three year slide of 90 plus loss seasons.

Starting the season in Chicago, the Twins haven't won on Opening Day since 2008, sending new pitcher Ricky Nolasco to the mound.

Nolasco with a slow start though, scoreless in the 2nd, Alejandro De Aza drills this pitch to deep right, a two-run homer, first of two on the day for him.

2-0 White Sox.

Kurt Suzuki is the new Twins catcher; he's not known for his bat, but he helps the Twins out in the 3rd with this hit to left, scoring Aaron Hicks and Oswaldo Arcia.

We're tied at 2.

Now 5-2 Chicago in the 8th, Suzuki comes thru again, he's not known for his bat, bleeder up the middle – scores Hicks, it's 5-3.

Same score in the 9th, Arcia is the tying run at the plate but he grounds back to the mound.
