Oklahoma City, OK (WDAY TV) - The NCAA Wrestling Championships begin Thursday in Oklahoma City and NDSU returns eager to capitalize on what's been a terrific season.

The Bison are sending four wrestlers, led by Stephen Monk, who's had a record setting year and will try to match Trent Sprenkle's All-American performance from last year.

Roger Kish/NDSU Head Coach: “He really has paved the way, he has shown our guys that it can be done and I'm confident that Steve will go out and to the same thing this week.”

Stephen Monk/NDSU Sr. “NCAA tournament is motivation, I mean we had some guys down there last year and they realized how fun it is and I mean they come back here and work hard and let everyone else know how great it is and we just continue to get better.”
