Colfax, ND (WDAY TV) - Tomorrow's farmers and Ag Leaders faced off in Colfax today.

The Richland 44-FFA-Chapter hosted the annual Agri-Science Career Day in Colfax.

There were students from Kindred, Wishek, Oakes, Sargent Central, Wyndmere and Richland 44.

The FFA students competed for $500 in cash prizes for their Agri-Science Fair research projects.

The students also met today with local colleges and ag business leaders.

Tony Boehm/Richland 44 FFA Ag Educator: “There certainly is a wide variety of careers in ag and we want to promote those ag science areas, ag production economics and we can push that area.”

And the winner of the top $300 prize today for their science project is Hayden Blegen and Jarret Hudson of Richland 44, for their piece on landscaping impact on marigold flowers.
