Sioux Falls Research Center assisting in search for missing Malaysian airplane

Sioux Falls, SD (WDAY TV) - A research center in Sioux Falls has been called in, to help the international search for a missing Malaysian airplane.

Sioux Falls, SD (WDAY TV) - A research center in Sioux Falls has been called in, to help the international search for a missing Malaysian airplane.

The Earth Resources Observation and Science Center is part of the U.S. Geological Survey, and collects over 400 images of Earth every day.

The Beijing bound flight last communicated with air traffic bases east of Malaysia in the South China Sea.

Images coming from EROS haven't found any leads yet.

Flight 371 has been missing for 7 days.
