Breckenridge, MN (WDAY TV) - A Breckenridge woman is missing her car, purse, and military papers, after her 1999 Chevy was stolen from her driveway.

19 year old Jessi Fillinger says footprints left behind show that someone was near the windows and doors of her home before getting into her unlocked Chevy cavalier and taking off Wednesday night.

The keys were in the car.

Fillinger's mom noticed the car was gone when she woke up Thursday morning.

Breckenridge Police say there are a few leads, and believe a wandering hitchhiker may have been dropped off nearby.

Jessi Fillinger/Car Theft Victim: “alot of it has my social security, all my information on it. It's just a hassle not to have because it's hard to get those papers back”

Insurance won't cover the theft since Fillinger only had liability coverage.

If you have any information you're asked to call police.
