Valley City, ND (WDAY TV) -- The Valley City State University student who has been reported missing since the 4th of July has been located.
The Mother of the missing college student says she called her sometime last night.
After a lot of confusion family and friends can now breath a sigh of relief. Their loved one 22 year old Amber Glatt is safe.
Amy Rines, Amber's mother, says her daughter told her she was in Arizona.
Authorities located Amber near the Grand Canyon around noon.
Glatt has had recurring amnesia since suffering a head injury two years ago. Rines believes her daughters disappearance was related to her amnesia. Valley City Police are still trying to sort through all the details.
Fred Thompson - Valley City Police Chief: "Well it doesn't appear that there was a disappearance as much as she decided she wanted to go someplace and left, there was no evidence of foul play, she wasn't taken against her will, so she just decided to go which you can do as an adult in this country."
Police say they will be keeping an eye on the situation.
Ambers mother left this morning headed for Arizona to be reunited with her daughter.
