Concordia varsity takes on the NDSCS Wildcats

Moorhead, Minn. (WDAY Sports) - North Dakota State College of Science scrimmaged the Concordia varsity today. Both teams begin their seasons a week from today.

Plenty of good plays on both sides. Science's Keith King with great balance, a great move, and big gain for the Wildcats.

How about this for a highlight reel play? Concordia's Kent Johnson with the one-handed touchdown catch. The passing game for Terry Horan's Cobbers showed some nice things. Starter Mike Dunham hits Bronson Sheppard on the slant for the score.

Back for NDSCS, Evan McCall, the Wahpeton kid with the long connection to Antonio.

The Wildcats have typically scrimmaged the Cobber JV, but today, going against the varsity was a win-win for both sides.

Concordia will open their season next Saturday at Dickinson State while NDSCS will begin their season the same day at home against Joliet Junior College.
