West Fargo BMX track hosts the state qualifier

(WDAY Sports) - We go from fast cars to fast bikes. This morning, BMX state qualifier was held at the BMX track in West Fargo.

This isn't a new thing, as they hold BMX races for all ages there every Tuesday night, and they're even hosting the State Championship final on August 14th.

BMX has been around for years, but it just debuted at the Olympics in 2008, and the West Fargo BMX Association is doing all they can to help the sport grow here in the F-M area.

“If you're a first timer, you can come here and we have track bikes you can try out for free. Your first race is free. You get a free one day membership. If you like it you just keep coming back. As long as you can ride a bike, it doesn't matter what age you are. You just get down here and race and it's a lot of fun.”
